Mental Health Landscape Reports

The MHICC team regularly conducts a landscape analysis of mental health resources across Michigan’s 31 community colleges. The findings are used to create individualized reports that support college faculty, staff, and administrators in their efforts to expand student access to evidence-based mental health care by highlighting how their college compares to other Michigan CCs.

For the 2023 reports available below, data was first gathered from college websites then verified or updated by campus mental health providers and decision-makers. In 2024, the MHICC team launched the Michigan Mental Health Landscape Survey to track changes in mental health resource availability over time. Responses from this annual survey were used to create the 2024 reports and the 2025-2026 reports available below. The next round of this survey is scheduled to be fielded in October 2026.

The most recent findings from the Michigan Mental Health Landscape Survey are also shown in aggregate form in the 2025-2026 Statewide Michigan Mental Health Landscape Report.
