Landscape Analyses
The MHICC team regularly conducts a landscape analysis of mental health resources across Michigan’s 31 community colleges. The findings are used to create individualized reports that support college faculty, staff, and administrators in their efforts to expand student access to evidence-based mental health care by highlighting how their college compares to other Michigan CCs.
For the 2023 reports available below, data was first gathered from college websites then verified or updated by campus mental health providers and decision-makers.
In 2024, the MHICC team launched the annual Michigan Mental Health Landscape Survey to track changes in mental health resource availability over time. Twenty-two colleges completed at least half of the 2024 survey and have their updated findings reflected in the 2024 reports available below. These findings are also shown in aggregate form in the 2024 Statewide Michigan Mental Health Landscape Survey. The next round of the Michigan Mental Health Landscape Survey is expected to launch in October 2025.
